Erykah Badu released “Baduizm”. This classic album featured hits like On & On, Appletree, and one of our personal favourites, Next Lifetime.

Baduizm is one of our favorite R&B/Neo-Soul albums from the 90s. If you're unfamiliar, give it a listen—you won't regret it.

Fun Fact: It’s also Erykah Badu’s birthday today 🎈 🎂

Rolling Stone Magazine just claimed “The Lady In My Life” was the WEAKEST track on Michael Jackson's Thriller album. And get this—they spelled “Billie Jean” as BILLIE BEAN in the article!

The disrespect to an R&B classic while misspelling one of the biggest songs in music history? That's WILD!

Fun fact: “The Lady In My Life” was later sampled in “Hey Lover” by LL COOL J featuring Blackstreet. Both songs are straight fire. 🔥
