📡 R&B Radar - Mariah Carey Viral Tribute Moment

On Monday night, Mariah Carey took center stage at the iHeart Music Awards, receiving the prestigious Icon Award—a well-earned crown for the queen of high notes and holiday season domination.

But while the tribute performance by Tori Kelly and Muni Long was meant to be a celebration, it was Mariah’s reaction that seemed to have stole the show. As Muni Long belted out We Belong Together, cameras caught Mariah looking… less than impressed. 👀

It’s probably nothing but the internet, of course, ran with it (and here we are talking about it). If you don’t have time to watch the whole performance, the moment happens around the 1:15 mark.

Was it shade? Or was she just taking it all in?

Regardless, it wasn’t a bad tribute. Tori Kelly held it down at the end singing Always Be My Baby.

🗓️ On This Day: March 19th, 2013

Twelve years ago today, Justin Timberlake made his return to music with The 20/20 Experience—and let’s be real, Suit & Tie featuring Jay-Z still jams!

After a seven-year hiatus, Justin came back swinging with hits like Suit & Tie and Mirrors, proving he hadn’t lost a step. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and went on to become the best-selling album of the year.

Fun Fact: The album was apparently recorded in a remarkably short span of 20 days!

🔥 R&B Hot Take - When To Hire An Assistant?

Dawn Robinson, a founding member of ‘90s R&B group En Vogue, recently revealed that she’s been living in her car for the past three years—and not out of necessity, but by choice.

Robinson explained that she embraced “car life” for the sense of freedom it provides, a lifestyle that’s been glamorized by the #VanLife movement. And honestly? We get the appeal—those YouTube videos do make it look kinda tempting.

But things took a turn when Jermaine Dupri questioned her financial decisions, especially her choice to keep an assistant while living in her vehicle.

Robinson’s journey into car life started after strained family relations and issues with a former manager, but she’s adapted to its unique demands.

Now, The Hot Take 🔥 Is it practical to have an assistant while living in your car, even if it’s by choice? Or is there more to this story than meets the eye?
